DVD!!! DVD!!!
Wow, a new post! And almost three weeks from my last---I must be improving!!
Being a lurker on the UK website
Zeta Minor, home to the Roobarb's DVD Forum (no, I haven't posted yet; I just enjoy pissing myself laughing at some of the posters' hysterically snarky comments on UK telly and film), it got me to thinking of my own somewhat lousy DVD collection.
Off the top of my head, I can safely say it is rather bizarre. I've got UK telly, crappy (yet for me quite enjoyable) movies from the $5 bin at Wal-Mart, a few TV shows, a couple documentaries, and comedies galore. Someday I'm actually going to try and sort the damn collection out and see which ones I've watched and which ones I haven't even opened. Who knows, maybe I'll even review a few.
Oooh, before I forget, here's some YouTube treats:

Oooh, before I forget, here's some YouTube treats:
- 80s HBO....you know you remember this.
- More old school, this time featuring ABC on Saturday morning
- British kiddie fare with a slightly adult bent. This is the classic UK kids show Rainbow (kinda like our Sesame Street except there's only three puppet types, and one sounds like a Dalek). The first two clips are from the Thames Television Christmas tape (something made by the VT, or video tape, crews from the UK television channels and featured all sorts of naughty bits and swearing. There's a BBC one I particularly enjoy, but I forgot the link.) featuring the show's host, the puppets, and their musical friends extolling the virtues of playing with your twangers and your balls.
- And for my GSN Buzz friends, a classic Showcase Showdown from a '91 airing of The Price is Right
Good bite!!
